Spring 2008 Fashion Forecast: COLOUR
The Fall and Winter somber dark colours like black and grey are taking a back seat to this spring’s wardrobe palette of tulip colours. Finally, like a breath of fresh air you will see bright vibrant colours like Kelly green, turquoise, lemon yellow and lilac. Look for the brightest colours in your Looking Your Best’s Book of Colour and team those with lighter neutrals like khaki and grey instead of black for a more modern look. Think back to the 70’s of your mom’s avocado green fridge (colour) and the lemon yellow shag rug! You can giggle or moan but it’s true; the 70’s colours are hot this spring! Look for these colour combinations in bold graphic patterns while animal prints continue to be strong. Although the spring fashions tend to show more leg, keep the skirt lengths to mid knee.
If you haven’t noticed yet, you are starting to get bored and disgusted with your closet that there’s nothing to wear. It happens to all of us at this time of the year.
