 Fall Fashion Trends
Voluminous sleeve: more fabric in the sleeves for blouses, jackets and coats. This will serve smaller on top proportions well. With volume on top, keep the proportion with narrower on the bottom.
Narrow Pantsuit: a wardrobe classic. Curvy figures may need to pass on this one. Or try to proportion the look with this season's voluminous tops and sweaters.
Romantic blouse: Feminine tops with ruffles, lace and bows are hot again this season.
Wide-Leg Pant: Keep the proportion small on top. If you were to wear full on the bottom and full on top; that's exactly what you'll look like: full. Wear opposites, full on bottom, narrow on top (fitted jacket or knit top) OR narrow on bottom and full on top. Proportion and balance are key.
Textured knit: Cozy up on those chilly nights with chunky cables, cowls and cocoons.
Fur-trimmed coats: Thick bands of fur at collar and cuffs are hot this season.
Leggings: not your 80's style leggings. These are opaque and ¾ length. Wear under knee length shorts. If you have slim or attractive legs, try them under your denim skirts or long sweaters. Wear with a flat heel or ankle boot.
Flat boot: 1 inch or less. Wonderful with skirts, skinny jeans and leggings.
Satchel Bag: short handle fits comfortably in your gloved hand.
Gloves: newest arm candy to wear with cropped sleeves.
Skinny Jeans: straight, super slim. Curvy body shapes beware. Pair them with flats or tuck them into boots.
Red Lip: Sculpted and matte for day with a slick of shine at night.
Wool: Look for Merino wool and Extra fine merino wool in the fabric.
Pencil skirt: wonderful as a wardrobe basic for work by day and elegant for a night on the town! Wear with heels and an oversized belt.

 Beauty Tips and Tricks
With the days of summer slipping away quickly, you may find you are in the middle of your makeup routine. The fall is a time to adjust your skin care and your foundation color and your cosmetic colors to reflect the change in season. Looking Your Best can help you with all of those choices.
Tip: If your foundation is too dark due to your summer tan fading, lighten the foundation with a few drops of liquid highlighter. OR, if you have a lighter foundation that is too light for right now, blend your darker foundation with your lighter foundation to carry you through these next few weeks.
Trick: Let mascara “oops” dry before tackling them. Once dried, take a cotton swab and “flick” off the dried mascara. Trying to remove wet mascara makes a mess!
